When talking hasn’t been enough

You keep having the same fight in different packaging.

Maybe one partner feels alone in carrying the relationship or managing daily life. The other feels constantly criticized, misunderstood, or unable to get anything right. Small moments become emotionally charged—or one or both of you shut down before anything gets resolved.

When neurodivergence is part of a relationship, these patterns are rarely as simple as one person caring more or trying harder. Differences in processing, communication, executive functioning, sensory needs, emotional regulation and capacity can become tangled with attachment needs and accumulated hurt.

The purpose isn’t to identify which partner is the problem. It’s to understand the relationship accurately enough to choose what will actually help.

Choose your path

Clarity on its own—or clarity followed by focused change.

Both options begin with the same comprehensive, neurodivergent-affirming relationship assessment.

A neurodivergent-affirming lens

Your differences are information—not evidence that either of you is broken.

We explore how each partner experiences communication, connection, conflict, executive functioning, sensory input, emotional regulation and stress. A formal ADHD or autism diagnosis is not required.

This is a relationship-focused process, not an individual diagnostic evaluation.

Processing and communication
Sensory and nervous-system needs
Executive functioning and capacity
Attachment and meaning-making
Protective conflict responses
Repair and practical support
What kind of response does this need?Greater understanding? Meaningful accommodation? Accountability and repair? Often, the work is learning to discern the difference.

This may fit if

You’re ready for focused work.

  • You feel caught in one or two persistent patterns.
  • Weekly appointments feel too slow or hard to schedule.
  • You need emotional work alongside practical change.
  • Both partners can participate honestly and examine their impact.
  • You want concentrated help without open-ended therapy.

A different service may be safer if

Participation isn’t fully safe or voluntary.

An intensive may not be appropriate when there is ongoing coercive control or violence, an undisclosed affair, unmanaged substance dependence, an immediate mental-health crisis, or when either partner cannot participate safely.

The initial consultation and intake help determine whether this format is clinically appropriate.
